With Powell Systems’ ever-growing EV additions to our fleet, we also found it’s time to increase the charging facilities at the office. Big shout out to Alex Masters of Schneider Electric, for supplying these great units complete with EV load management. As the technology grows, so does our commitment to reduce our carbon footprint and improve sustainability.
In a 2020 survey* commissioned by telematics provider Samsara, results showed 90% of the fleet managers polled believe that electric vehicles are the inevitable future of commercial vehicle fleets.
Among the other findings, 32% of respondents believe fleets will be one quarter electric within five years, while 50% believe in 10 years.
